This game was made for SuNoFes 2024, an online game jam focused on visual novels and story-based games.
Story
This game mentions or includes depictions of foul language, death, suicide, and violence. Play at your own discretion.
Chase Frey, a college student of no particular import, whiles away life with her girlfriend, Marie-Anne Rusa, when one night she suddenly disappears— and a detective knocks on Chase’s door, citing foul play. With Marie-Anne’s parents, both government officials, having died just the week before, concern rises for the absent Marie-Anne, whom they fear has met a similar fate.
Alongside a colorful cast, Chase begins to unravel the convoluted ties behind her disappearance… but there is more than meets the eye to the mystery, including a long-forgotten accident dubbed the “Rosaria Tragedy”, of which Marie-Anne’s family played a part.

i love it a lot!! the music, sfx, art, and writing all combine elegantly to draw me into this world! the current one ending is NOT enough though,, i eagerly await the new endings :D

the worldbuilding and characters are super compelling!!! what i love most is that a lot of the story/plot/chara relationships are already deeply intertwined and you as the player are figuring it out thru chase and the other characters, which is really cool! you're completely immersed in the story and after playing it the first time, i immediately went back to reread and see if there were any clues that i missed to fill in the gaps... O_O <3 the music/sound effects are also SO SO charming and added to the atmosphere a lot, and i was a biiiig fan of the backgrounds!!! so much personality shows in em!!! LASTLYYY the little flashbacks with romance bits btwn chase and marie never failed to make me squeal theyre SO cute.... looking forward to the other routes and everything else the team cooks up>:) <33333

This short and sweet vn really nailed the investigative feel with the cute sticky notes and binder paper UI, and that surprisingly catchy bgm. I found myself quickly attached to the cast, especially that cutie Nimbus :) This vn managed to establish a very charming yet dark modern fantasy setting, and I can't wait to see how you guys explore it further in the upcoming routes!

I love everything about this game. The character designs were all so unique, the story was compelling throughout and continuously had me forming and updating theories, and the music was perfect for setting the mood of each scene. I CANNOT wait for what comes next!

a very compelling and tense mystery vn combined with a colourful cast, incredible original bg music and a unique ui reminiscent of old-school point-and-click games!! i really enjoyed the story so far. i'm a sucker for modern magical settings and mystery/thriller so all of that packed together with a lesbian couple at the forefront makes for a game that pulled me in right away. there's more than enough here to keep me wanting more, i'm very excited for the upcoming routes!!! chase has my heart <333
